Convention activities will be officially held on Friday & Saturday. But, we have made arrangements for those who wish to arrive early or stay late. A special rate has been negotiated at the Hyatt Riverwalk, where the world famous promenade along the river in downtown San Antonio is on the doorstep. You and your family can stay from June 2nd through the 12th at our special hotel rate. Visit the historic Alamo across the street from the hotel, El Mercado Mexican Market Square nearby, ride the miniature train at Breckenridge Park, see the Chinese Sunken Gardens, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld, the iconic Tower of the Americas and much more! Convention Outings.
For your entertainment, we have arranged three optional group outings on Thursday, June 6th, before the convention. Join fellow Pachyderms on a Winery Tour through the scenic Texas Hill Country just north of town. Or, relive the history of San Antonio by visiting relics at the Mission fortresses of San Juan, San Jose and others. For you avid golfers, pack your clubs and team up for a day on the links with our local Republicans. Transportation, fees and refreshments will be included in the price of these optional outings.

Registration for the Convention includes all meals!
The Alamo Pachyderm Club is pleased to provide meals in the price. This includes Friday breakfast & lunch, followed by an evening reception and dinner. Also, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner is covered in the deal.
Convention Events.
Your convention events will include:
- Breakout sessions on team building and club development.
- Featured speakers on national and international issues.
- Keynote addresses at meals and banquets.
Transportation.
San Antonio International Airport is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the hotel. Rent a car, ride the shuttle or catch a cab for a short ride into downtown. Experience a special treat for those who visit San Antonio, one of the most efficient airports in the country. But, beware. Although renting a car is convenient, the cost of parking at the hotel can be pricey. We have negotiated a special parking rate of $12 per day.
