David H. Falloure is a passionate and proven professional marketing communicator of over 40 years. His work has been recognized by several industry organizations and he has a few mentions in AdWeek and the Houston Business Journal. But Falloure’s second career is writing about history and Texas. He spent significant time as a columnist for the Examiner News Group, a contributor to the Houston/Heights Tribune, the Buzz Magazines, and the Houston Chronicle. He also penned articles in the Texas State Historical Association (TSHA) Handbook of Houston launched in March 2017.
Falloure has authored centennial books on the Port of Houston, Beaumont, and the Junior League of Houston. His first novel was Counterclockwise—a suspense thriller set primarily in 1942 Houston. Two more fiction works are due this year.
Husband of over 30 years and father of three sons, Falloure makes his home in Texas. He is also an admiral in the Texas Navy. Yes, there is a Texas Navy—and it’s an organization dedicated to preserving state heritage and history.
